Museum Of The Future

The Museum of the Future, building is an architectural and engineering marvel.  It is a stainless-steel structure with an Arabic calligraphy engraved on it, sitting in the midst of tall glass buildings in Dubai’s business district.

The Museum of the Future is a 252 foot tall museum, which sits upon a green plateau and enveloped with 100 plant species which are native to UAE.

The museum takes the visitors on a voyage into the future to the year 2071, the centenary of the founding of the UAE,  through the framework of five chapters.

This trip to the Museum of the Future is in the never to be missed category, in your list of activities in Dubai.

Burj Khalifa

The Desert Safari Dubai is one of the most exhilarating experience, you can add to your list of activities in Dubai.

It is a 20 minute drive, where you will be taken in a 4x4 speedy Land Cruiser on top of sand dunes, in the beautiful Arabian dessert.  The bumpy ride, splashing golden sand everywhere will be cherished in your memories for a very long time.

After the dune bashing, you will be taken to the camp site for stunning performances, camel rides and an extraordinary buffet dinner.

Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo

The Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is actually a 10 million liter water tank and one of the largest suspended aquariums in the world.

It is located on the ground floor of the Dubai Mall and has a 48 meter walk through tunnel, which provides a 270 degree view from 11 meters below the surface of the tank.

The risk averse tourists can walk around these tunnels, but the adventurous ones can go for the Shark Dive, which is a once in a lifetime opportunity, bringing you within inches of a large variety of sharks and sting rays.

For anybody who is fascinated about marine life and wants to admire sea life at a close quarter, a visit to the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is probably the best place to visit in Dubai

Dubai Mall

The Dubai Mall is touted to be the world’s largest shopping, entertainment and leisure destination.

It is located next to the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa and has around 1200 retail store, 2 major department stores and hundreds and hundreds of food and beverage outlets.

Just to get the massiveness of Dubai Mall, imagine 20 football grounds, put together and that is the size of Dubai Mall – a massive 1 million square meters!!

In 2014, a huge 155 million year old dinosaur skeleton, was placed in the atrium of Dubai Mall.  This massive dinosaur was affectionately called the ‘DubaiDino’.  The remains of the Dubai Dino were discovered in 2008 in Wyoming, US and it was flown to Dubai.
